Match Report:

San Diego1 after a long break had a home game against Pasadena 2 at CSP.  San Diego1 lost the toss and was sent to Bat. With consistent start by the openers all season, Kumar and Ganga started the inns but lost quick wicket for 27/1. Varma joined kumar at the crease to start building the partnership. With run rate being slow Kumar started playing aggressive short scoring boundaries, but couldn’t do that for long time. Kumar got out giving catch at point after scoring 41 runs with team score of 91//2. Anwaar Ahmad left arm spiner for Pasadena 2 bowled excellent turning the ball from good length choking San Diego1 batsmen and falling victim for his bowling. By end of his spell he had 5 wickets for 32 runs leaving Sandiego struggling at 133/8. Rajinder Ghai and Sourab played excellent to stabilize the inns, Sourab playing anchor and Rajinder Ghai scoring boundaries consistently. Rajinder Ghai scoring Six of last ball of the inns was short of 2 runs for his half century and putting San Diego1 with  fight score of 204/9.

Pasadena2 with target of 205 had no doubts in there mind coming how to attach. Nitin Shere top score of the team was in the crease with Anwaar Ahmad. Anwaar showing his skills with ball already was waiting to show his skills with bat. First ball of the inns was hit over midwicket for six followed by 3 boundaries in the first over. Skipper of Sandiego1 want to control damage by slowing down the pace by introducing spin. Nitin on the crease just didnt want to slow down the pace scoring boundaries 2 fours and 2 sixers of the second over. The tone was set for both batsmen at crease. With score being 53 in three over Vijay was bought in to bowl 4th over. Vijay got Anwaar wicket giving SanDiego 1 to regroup and control damage control. The new batsmen Syed Bohkari gave a chance in 5th over with was dropped. After this both batsmen kept attaching giving lot more chances to get them out, but Sandiego1 was sloppy on field dropping all opportunities.
